                          Types of Noises Successfully Removed or Diminished

We try to restore the Video to match the original sound and image of the master; we perform Restorations and Transfers to the format selected starting from almost any format.



We offer a number of restoration services, such as  noise/hiss reduction, crackle/pop removal, and  custom editing.
                        

                                       Audio

    Createhigh frequencies using the mid-range frequencies with the use of an"Exciter



                     Give recordings a sweeter, tube-amplifier sound  

                 Give recordings a harsher, digital sound 

                Remove excessive low or high frequencies





                             Audio Levels,Create Tracks,Fixer Gaps



        Using our sound restoration techniques in most cases we improve the quality records dramatically.                    



        We will apply our Noise Reduction Philosophy for all recordings we receive for Restoration

       There are 3 levels of Sound Restoration (depending on the quality of the source recording) and a Sound
       ReMastering option.

         The client specifies SOUND RESTORATION. It is our task, upon listening, to determine the Sound Restoration Level required for c        completing the job. (We determine the Sound Restoration Level.)

                                      A. Sound Restoration Level 1.

The quality of the recording source is good, but there are impulse noises (clicks) or there is audible hum. Also, glass masters and
tapes.here are audible clicks, but no scratches or crackle. or tapes, there is audible hum, but no external continuous noises to filter
out.

 B. Sound Restoration Level 2.

The quality of the recording source is bad. There are impulse noises, larger clicks, and possible continuous noises to filter out.
Typical sources in this condition are tapes recorded with poor quality equipment.



C. Sound Restoration Level 3.

The quality of the recording source is extremely bad. There are impulse noises, scratches,
incorrect recording levels, and possible continuous noises to filter out.
Typical sources in this condition are  tapes recorded with poor or faulty equipment, tapes or records stored
improperly.

                                                SOUND REMASTERING

Option C deal mainly with restoring the sound of the recording to the original sound, produced by the original sound engineer and
producer. Although we may compensate for gross sound imbalances, we do not re-engineer the sound recording.

The client specifies SOUND REMASTERING. It is our task, upon listening, to determine the Sound ReMastering Option required
for completing the job. (The client DOES NOT determine the Sound ReMastering Option.)

Here are the most common types of problems we remove or diminish from old recordings

 olor Correction - Adjustment of color, brightness, contrast, Pan,Zoom & Crop - Movement of the video. Audio Effects - Normalization, noise reduction, Video Noise Reduction - Provides a smoother and cleaner picture and fix audio noise. Splicing - Allows scenes to be cut, copied, and moved.

                                                                 Corrections

 color Correction - Adjustment of color,brightness, contrast, Pan, Zoom & Crop - Movement of the video

Titling - Basic, graphic, animated, Audio Effects - Normalization, noise reduction, custom DVD Authoring - Menus, chapters, Video Noise Reduction - Provides a smoother and cleaner picture,Video problems - Over saturated colors or tracking problems .Audio problems - Weak, noisy or distorted, Discontinued Formats -
Betamax,etc,etc

   There are some types defects and distortions that are very hard or impossible to restore. We want our customers to be
informed.
