Lion of Judah

One of the names given to Jesus in both the
Hebrew and Greek Scriptures is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. In

fact, Jesusis called the Lion and the Lamb: a picture of both His kingship, His
authority, the endless dominion of His kingdom, His mercy, and His sacrificial love.

Isa 11:6

Also the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the
kid; and the calf and the cub lion and the fatling together; and a little child
shall lead them.
